Frequently Asked Questions

Short, direct answers to what everyone asks before their first auction.

What is the terms booklet and why is it required?
It is the official document that sets out the auction’s terms and details. It covers the asset description, viewing dates, and the settlement and title-transfer procedures. Obtaining it is a prerequisite for taking part, because signing it constitutes legal acceptance of the terms.
How do I take part in an auction?
Two steps from the website: Register your details on the auction page, then order the terms booklet — it is delivered to your address, cash on delivery. The remaining procedures are set out in full inside the booklet, and our team contacts you to complete them.
What is the difference between a public auction and sealed bids?
In a public auction bids are called out and rise until the hammer falls. With sealed bids each party submits an envelope, all opened before a committee in one sitting. Sealed bids are typically used for government bodies and high-value assets, because they stop bidders influencing one another.
What documents are required to take part?
Individuals: a valid national ID card. Companies: a recent commercial register extract, tax card, and a signed and stamped authorisation for the representative. The full list is stated in each auction’s terms booklet.
Can the asset be inspected before the auction?
Yes — every auction has a published viewing period. You will find it in the terms booklet and on the auction page, and you can inspect the asset in person during it. Taking part confirms that you have inspected the asset and accepted it as-is.
How do I receive the terms booklet?
Our courier delivers it to your address, cash on delivery. You order it from the website and pin your location on the map — pinning the location speeds up delivery and avoids address errors.
How long does the terms booklet take to arrive?
One working day to prepare, then delivery depending on the governorate. Within Cairo and Giza this is usually 24–48 hours after preparation; other governorates follow the courier’s route. The courier calls you before arriving.
Can companies contract you to run an auction?
Yes — that is our core business. We contract with institutions, companies and government bodies: we value the asset, prepare and document it, market it to the right bidder base, and run the session through to completed sale and title transfer.
What common mistakes do auction participants make?
Three recurring mistakes: skimming the booklet, skipping the viewing, and ignoring the legal position. The right decision starts well before the session: read the terms booklet carefully — it holds the obligations and settlement deadlines; inspect the asset in person, with a specialist if needed, to know its real condition; and verify the documents, title, licences and any dues tied to the asset before bidding.
