1. What these terms cover
Using this site, registering interest in an auction, or ordering a terms booklet means you accept what is written here. If you do not accept it, do not use the site.
These terms govern the site only. The auction itself is governed by its own terms booklet, which is the binding document if the two ever differ.
2. What we do
M.O Group specialises in managing and organising public auctions and sealed-bid tenders on behalf of asset owners in the government and private sectors. We run and organise the auction; we do not own the assets on offer unless expressly stated.
Everything published here about an auction — description, viewing dates, lot count — is for guidance. The terms booklet is the final reference.
3. Registering interest is not a bid
Registering interest tells us you want to follow the auction and be contacted. It creates no financial obligation, is not an offer or a bid, and does not reserve you a place in the session.
Actually taking part requires meeting the documents, deposit and procedures set out in the terms booklet.
4. Ordering the terms booklet and delivery
The terms booklet is ordered from the site and delivered to the address you give, cash on delivery. The price shown on the auction page is the booklet itself; the delivery fee announced at the time of ordering is added.
The courier calls before arriving, so give a number that works. The address you enter is your responsibility, and we are not liable for a failed delivery caused by an incomplete one.
«Company decision needed»: the refund policy for a delivered booklet, and how many delivery attempts are made before an order is cancelled — to be written here once management has decided.
5. Viewing and buyer responsibility
Every auction has an announced viewing period during which you can inspect the asset in person. Taking part is your acknowledgement that you have inspected it and accepted it in its current condition, including any visible or hidden defects.
Photographs on the site are for identification and may not accurately reflect the asset's present condition. The in-person viewing is what counts.
6. Accuracy and changes to dates
We do our best to keep everything on this site correct and current. A typing error or a late update can still happen, and we are not responsible for a decision taken on an inaccurate statement before it was corrected.
The asset owner may postpone or cancel an auction, or withdraw any lot from it, before the session. We announce that on the site as soon as we know.
7. Using the site
The site may not be used for any unlawful purpose, nor may anyone attempt to disrupt it, break into it or scrape its data, nor impersonate another person when submitting details.
The site's content — text, images, logo and design — belongs to M.O Group and may not be copied or republished without written permission.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by Egyptian law, and the courts of Cairo have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
«Legal review needed»: this document is a working draft. A legal adviser reviews it before launch, and any necessary limitation-of-liability and indemnity clauses are added.
For any question about your data or about these terms, get in touch and we will answer.
